Yes. In some cases, you can pay a deposit to reserve an item and pay the remaining balance later.
We usually require a 10% deposit. You can use it to reserve an item that's currently in stock, secure an item that needs to be ordered from a supplier, or reserve an item to collect from our Guildford store.
Reserving an Item for Collection
If you'd like to reserve an item to collect from our Guildford store without paying in full, please contact us. We can usually arrange this with a 10% deposit.
We'll let you know when your item is ready and can hold it for up to 30 days. You can pay the remaining balance when you collect.
This is different from our standard Click & Collect service, where orders placed online are paid in full at checkout. For more information, see How Does Click & Collect Work?
Reserving an Item for Delivery
If you'd like to reserve an item for delivery at a later date, we can usually take a 10% deposit to secure it. This also applies to eligible items that are currently out of stock and need to be ordered from one of our suppliers.
Once the item is available, we'll hold it for up to 30 days. You must pay the remaining balance before we can arrange delivery.
How Do I Pay the Remaining Balance?
For items reserved for collection, you can pay the remaining balance when you visit our Guildford store. For delivery orders, please contact us to arrange payment. If paying by card over the phone, the billing address registered to the card must match the delivery address.
For certain high-value orders, we may require payment by bank transfer.
Special Orders
If you'd like to order something we don't normally stock, such as a Custom Shop, made-to-order or limited-edition product, we may be able to arrange this with a deposit. Deposit requirements vary by product and supplier. Some specially ordered or customised products may require a non-refundable deposit. We'll always make this clear before taking payment.
International Orders
International customers may also reserve an item with a deposit. For international orders, partial payments must be made by bank transfer.
We process all payments and refunds in GBP. If your deposit is refunded, the amount you receive in your local currency may differ from the amount originally paid due to exchange-rate fluctuations or charges applied by your payment provider.
Are Deposits Refundable?
Most deposits are refundable to the original payment method if you decide not to proceed with your purchase. However, deposits for certain specially ordered, customised or made-to-order products may be non-refundable. If this applies, we'll make this clear before taking your deposit.
V12 Retail Finance
If you're purchasing an item using V12 Retail Finance, the payment process is different. For eligible products that aren't currently in stock, we'll confirm any required deposit during the finance application process. Your finance agreement and repayments won't begin until you receive your goods.
