Selling your used equipment to Andertons Music Co. is a sustainable, hassle-free way to turn unwanted equipment into cash instead of selling through online marketplaces, which can be problematic and time-consuming. Our team of specialists is dedicated to offering fair pricing based on years of experience selling used equipment.
Terms & Conditions
Please read our terms and conditions below to ensure you are satisfied when selling your item(s) to us. Please read this information in full to avoid receiving a different price than the one initially offered, which could even lead to a situation where we cannot accept the goods.
Prices given are on the assumption that the goods are:
Complete
Prices are offered assuming that goods are complete with the original box (not needed for guitars, amplifiers, or drum products) and accessories, including the original gig bag or case. Any missing accessories or packaging may reduce the price offered.
Any extra non-original accessories provided with the goods (e.g. gig bags, tuners and flight cases) may be considered when deciding on a final. We will only purchase goods that require a software license to function fully if the software is transferable to the new owner. We require proof that the software manufacturer has carried this out before sending the goods to us or bringing them to our store. If you are unsure of how to transfer your software license, please contact us, and we can assist you.
In Full Working Order
Goods that are partially working, missing accessories or components required to function, or damaged that could potentially lead to further issues will not be considered. Andertons Music Co. will not be liable for any costs if your items(s) develop a fault in our procession.
Yours To Sell
The goods are legally yours to sell and free from any undisclosed charge or encumbrance, such as loans or hire purchase agreements.
Other factors to consider
We reserve the right to reduce the amount offered if the goods' condition differs from what is described when completing the contact form.
Customers are required to present a photo ID when visiting the store.
Our product specialists will test the goods within 48 hours from the date they arrive at our store to ensure they are fully operational. We are unable to accept products that cannot be tested in-store (e.g. items requiring USA to UK voltage convertors, electric guitars missing pickups or amps/cabs missing speakers)
Goods that pose a hygiene risk must be cleaned before being brought to the store (e.g., in-ear monitors or headphones). Goods that emit odours due to not being stored in a suitable/smoke-free environment may also result in a price reduction.
Any maintenance work that needs to be carried out on your instrument (e.g., guitar setup issues) may also reduce the price offered, especially if the guitar strings are old or unplayable. The cost of replacement strings will be deducted from the amount offered.
You must cover any returning carriage fees (£20 per parcel) and accept full liability for the goods shipped back to you if you do not wish to proceed with the transaction. This also applies if we are unable to accept the goods. Alternatively, you can collect the goods from our store or have a representative collect the goods on your behalf with written permission and proof of identity.
Any valuation given is only an estimate and is subject to change. All prices given are valid for 14 days only.
All payments are made via bank transfer to UK-registered accounts within 3 working days from the transaction completion date. The payment can only be made if the payee's name and payment details match those on their Andertons account.
