Our suppliers carry out quality control checks before sending instruments to us. Although we can't inspect every guitar or bass individually before dispatch, we can arrange a complimentary quality control check upon request.
Our technicians will check that your instrument meets the manufacturer's factory specifications, including checking for loose or damaged parts.
Quality control standards and acceptable tolerances vary depending on the instrument's price, components and manufacturing standards.
Please note: This complimentary check does not include restringing, lowering the action or other adjustments to personalise the factory setup.
How do I request a quality control check?
Please contact us when placing your order, or as soon as possible if you've already ordered.
Please note: Additional checks may delay the dispatch of your order.
Minor adjustments may also be required after delivery, as temperature and humidity changes during storage and transit can affect an instrument's setup. For helpful advice, watch our guitar setup video.
